Never in my life have I had such a thorough and meticulous dentist. Dr. Rita Tempel and her staff are so totally dedicated to making sure that every detail is "just right." I feel like it is the most comprehensive dental care available...anywhere. My husband and I both go to Dr. Rita, and we are very confident that we are getting the best care we have ever had. I know that my teeth, smile, and overall dental health are important to everyone on staff with Dr. Tempel.

I recently moved to Gettysburg and was in need of a new dental provider. I selected Gettysburg Smiles from an advertisement I received and thought it was worth a try. I had a very positive intake experience and felt very cared for. Dr. Tempel was very thorough, patient, and issued a reasonable plan of care. I felt like she and her staff took the time to explain things to me and provided me with helpful knowledge to improve my oral health. I will be continuing to see Dr. Tempel moving forward.

My appointment was to take delivery of a new mouth guard that was fitted previously. It fit perfectly and is thicker than my last one...Maybe I won’t break this one. Overall, I continue to be impressed by the level of care at Dr. Tempel’s office.

Dr. Tempel and her staff are great. The techs do thorough teeth cleaning and education for healthy teeth and gums. Dr. Tempel is a true professional who wants all her patients to have healthy teeth. I would recommend her to anyone who wants the best dental treatment.

I can never say enough good about Dr. Tempel and her team. They worked hard to make sure I was comfortable during my procedures, and Dr. Tempel is a perfectionist in all the best ways. I brought my eight-year-old son here to have his front tooth repaired after he chipped it at school. From the moment I walked in the front door, being greeted by smiling faces, I knew this was the right place to be. The office is so clean and tidy, the staff is beyond friendly, and Dr. Tempel was so explanatory and compassionate.
Dr. Tempel took her time to make sure the task was done correctly and looked natural. Dr. Tempel takes pride in her work. I was so pleased and happy with the results of my son's front tooth. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Tempel and assoc. is an amazing practice. I couldn't be happier with every visit from my husband to myself and our son. We travel over 3 hours just to see her, she is that amazing!
I would love to say how easy and happy our 4 year old son is... But the truth is, he is a difficult handful (that's putting it nicely). Dr Tempel was very caring and stern with him when he was having a meltdown. She was able to still do a professional and efficient job. She has a family of customers for life!!!

Dr. Tempel & her team are amazing! I’m 43 years old and have high anxiety around dental appointments/procedures to the point that I will avoid dental care for years. Many offices are unwilling to provide sedation, and my anxiety is dismissed. At my first appointment, Dr. Tempel took the time to listen and understand- a first for me. I’m so relieved to have finally found my dental provider!!

The office goes beyond when it comes to quality of care. I saw two different hygienists, and both were so in-depth and thorough. They explained everything with great detail and confidence. Dr. Tempel was kind and knowledgeable and gave me the best options for further treatment. I also had to get a deep cleaning, and my mouth didn't even hurt afterward! I had a filling replaced that was causing pain, and I can finally chew on it again! I would recommend this office to everyone!

Dr. Temple and her assistant Kandice dealt with my sister’s dental work with professionalism, humor, and love. They genuinely care for the well-being of their patients. They know how to do their jobs with efficiency and care, always looking out for their patients. My sister was worried going in, scared of needles, but they numbed her with ease helping her feel safe and secure during her procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Temple’s office for dental work. Dr. Temple and staff are a fine example of professionalism. Their knowledge in regards to dental care is cutting edge. I started seeing Dr. Temple a few years ago. I was searching for a dentist that really cared about my oral health and also about my smile. I had a treatment plan and over a few years we accomplished the work that needed to be done. No pressure. Just a plan. I always get an honest and sincere answer to any questions I have. Dr. Tempe’s staff is top notch. I always feel I am getting highly qualified care. Dr Tempel is such a find in our small south central town of Gettysburg. I have been battling an issue for just short of a year. After a consultation with Dr. Tempel, I felt comfortable that she had identified the problem.
I have had a root canal and am working towards some cosmetic work. She is all I could wish for. Her confidence gives comfort to fears. One hour in and out for the work.

Always thorough and professional. I’ve had a lot of dental work done here that I put off for years with other dentists. She was patient with me over the years and I ultimately had ALL the postponed work done because of the high level of care I’ve received. All the procedures were almost non events because of Dr. Temple and her well qualified staff. Their skills and abilities made the procedure very comfortable and easy. If you’re looking for a dentist or want to make a change, look no further than Dr. Temple and her outstanding practice.

Dr. Temple, and her entire staff, are the most thorough team that I have ever encountered in almost 70 yrs of my dental care. Every new Dental School, Dental Assistant, and Hygienist graduate should do an Internship with these exceptional professionals. The support staff also facilitates a smooth and easy appointment.
